Any ideas for a formal dance hairstyle?

For my prom, we twisted the front of my hair up, back to the crown in rows, fastened with tiny clear rubber bands. Then we spiraled everything that hung, and pulled a good sized strand from each side up to cover the bands, secured with studded bobby pins. I accessorized with glittery butterflies, when glittery butterflies were "in" ;-) Good luck to ya :-)

long flowing curly locx of brunette hair, at my prom, it knoked the guys dead!!! (especially when i ran my fingers through it!! dont make the curls too tight though!!!)
