I want to make the curls bigger and updo like. I llove my everyday look just want to dress it up.

formal events make me love my curly hair (everday i sort of hate it though...). i curl it the best i can by scrunching it and gelling it. then i pin it all up on top of my head so it makes this huge pile of curls. a few random pieces down and i look like i had my hair done professionally. i've also wrapped small ribbons around my head (like a headband) it looks grecian. or put bits of flowers in it - curly hair hides a multitude of sins. :)

I have found that it is worth it to pay for someone to do your hair in a salon for special events.
