I want to get my hair done for the dance...?

ok so the semi winter formal dance is coming and i need some opinions... :)

1. about how much is it to get my hair done at a salon.

2. what hairstyle should i do (either tight spirals or looser waves)

3. and do u think its worth it to get it done or should i just do it myself

well, I think you should defitnetly do loose waves or super straight!!! Nat, I know that u would not like spirals at ALL!!!! Also, go to a salon and c how much it costs then u can decide wether or not it is worth it!! If u dont go a salon I can always help!!! Hope I helped!!!!

I would definitely go ahead of time and have them fix it to make sure you are going to like it. Some places will do this either for free or really cheap.

As far as price, it depends on where you live. In a rural area, you should be able to get it done for 25-50 dollars (depending on the shop of course). I have no idea what it would cost in a more urban area.

Keep in mind that if your hair is naturally straight or just slightly wavy, it might not hold a curl very well. You'd either have to use a LOT of hairspray/ other styling products or wear it straight.

If you have an updo in mind, it'll be awkward to do it yourself and you might not get the look you want and be frustrated. If you're going to keep your hair loose, I would say definitely do it yourself. Buy a curling iron if you don't already have one. You'll save a lot of money (you probably already spent some on your dress)
