Best colours (clotheswise) for me...?

Hi! I have very (VERY!) light/pale skin (apparently english rose according to my friends!) and very light blue eyes, with dark brown hair. I am in dire need of colour help as I have a formal party for an 18th to go to, and need a nice dress that will work with how I look...

I don't know if this counts, but I'm 5'2" and size 10 *UK*, I don't know if that needs to be taken into account or not!

Hi! I'm fair-skinned too. What I've found is jewel tones work best to bring out the natural rosiness of my skin. Deep turquoise, evergreen, deep blue, maroon, reddish browns and golds (think fall colors). Stay away from white, lavender, pink and yellow that can make skin look sallow. Also bright colors like fuschia will overpower you.

I suggest a deep maroon red and gold. It'll make your eyes Pop, your cheeks look rosey and bring out any highlights in your hair.

you should probably go with dark colors or pink ( if you don't hate it like many people do) from your description you look like me and that's what i would wear.

or you can have blue to bring out your eyes.any type of blue that your eye color is.

Blues can be flattering to most skin tones, particularly softer shades. If you want to go for a stonger colour like black or red, that would be okay, but you would need to wear darker make up to stop you from looking washed out. Why not have a look at some celebrity magazines to see what sort of colours look best on other people with your colouring.
