Hair emergency?

am going to homecoming this year and I am getting my hair done professionally, but I am not sure what to do.

-my school dance is very formal

Hair: I have straight dirty blonde hair. It is about 1.5 inches longer than my colorbones so it is pretty medium lengthed. I also have sidebangs., I also have slight layering.

I was thinking about loose curls, any ideas or suggestions???
